    Honey is not suitable for vegans. Have you considered unsing brown rice syrup?

      Thank you for writing, Chris. Yes, I know honey is not for vegans -- that is why my vegan recipe book, Hungrier for Health, omits it. I did test brown rice syrup for the bar recipe but was not pleased with the results. ~ Susan Silberstein PhD
